Tuesday may have been the final golf outing of 2025 for many people.
If that’s the case, it was a great day to enjoy a terrific course and support an incredible cause.
The Construction Business Group held its annual golf outing at Trappers Turn in Wisconsin Dells. Several dozen foursomes, including a number of WTBA representatives and member companies, enjoyed unseasonably warm weather in the mid-80s and plenty of sunshine.
Most importantly, though, was the money raised for Hogs for Heroes. CBG donated a combined $10,000 generated through mulligans, raffle sales and a 50/50 CBG match.
Hogs for Heroes is a Wisconsin-based non-profit that buys at-risk veterans Harley-Davidson motorcycles, helping them heal through “wind therapy.”
“These men and women have told us, if we hadn’t put that bike back in their lives, they might not be here,” Hogs for Heroes President Kevin Thompson told attendees. “By having fun out here today and helping veterans, you’re helping save their lives, and I’m not being dramatic when I say that.”
Thanks to CBG for an incredible event and for supporting our wounded warriors.
