PEWAUKEE, Wis. — Changes atop a WTBA member company brings a new leader with decades of noteworthy experience.
Century Companies announced Thursday it hired Beth Truett as Century Traffic’s new president. Truett replaces Tim McChesney, who told Century’s CEO this past December he intended to retire.
Truett most recently served as senior vice president of operations for Sheboygan-based Vollrath Company, which manufactures metal foodservice, cleaning, and medical supplies. Prior to that, she spent more than 20 years with Harley-Davidson, including as US Motorcycle Operations Manager from 2017-2021.
“Beth shares our vision of building an organization that cares for the next 100 years, where
every action we take today compounds into lasting value for our customers and teammates,”
Century Companies CEO Matthew Powell said in a news release.
Truett will work closely with Jason Voelker (VP of Pavement Marking) and Andy Bakker (Director of Traffic Control) as she begins her new role.
McChesney was with Century Fence for 17 years. He was vice president of operations until this past winter when Century Traffic formed. McChesney says he’ll stay with Century Traffic as Director of Business Development until the end of 2024, then will fully retire in 2025.
“Tim’s leadership had a profound impact on the business, guiding Century Traffic through significant growth and transformation,” the news release states. “His contributions have laid a strong foundation for the company’s continued success, and his legacy will be felt for years to come.
“Tim is a true steward: leaving the company better than he found it.”
