Crews who worked on an asphalt paving job in central Wisconsin have a little something extra to celebrate this week.

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) awarded Northeast Asphalt (A Walbec Company) with one of its acclaimed Larry H. Lemon awards during its national conference in Hawaii.  Projects using less than 50,000 tons of asphalt are eligible each year.

The award recognized NEA’s work on the Highway 73 project near Green Lake.  WTBA visited the work site last summer with State Sen. John Jagler and State Rep. Alex Dallman as part of its WTBA of Tomorrow Legislative Tours series.

Northeast Asphalt was one of 10 Larry H. Lemon award winners for 2024 projects.
