A U.S. Army veteran and WTBA member employee who survived tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan tragically died while on a work site this month.
Christopher O’Neal, 42, of Kapur and Associates, was hit and killed June 9 while doing survey work on Highway 60 in Slinger.
O’Neal is survived by his wife, siblings, and many other family members.
Friends established a GoFundMe page to support O’Neal’s wife. You can find a link to learn more HERE.
O’Neal’s family also encourages people to give in his honor to the Homeless Veterans Initiative, the Humane Society, or the Wisconsin Bike Federation.
WTBA extends its deepest condolences to O’Neal’s family and his colleagues at Kapur.
His death is a painful reminder to everyone of the importance of work zone safety every minute of every day.
