WTBA’s efforts to improve work zone safety across the state helped bring in a new association member this month.

Tuesday, the WTBA Board of Directors unanimously approved accepting CESA 2’s application as an Associate member.

CESA 2 (Cooperative Education Service Agency) provides support for teachers and students in 74 school districts across southern Wisconsin.  CESA 2’s driver’s education program teaches about 4,500 students per year.

In July, CESA 2 invited Work Zone Safe founder Tom Robins to speak at its annual driver’s education teacher staff meeting.  The agency started using Work Zone Safe Wisconsin as part of its curriculum this summer.
