BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. — A WTBA-member company’s commitment to supporting U.S. veterans earned it some special recognition this week.
The Department of Defense honored Hoffman Construction and company president Chris Goss as a “Patriotic Employer.” Petty Officer First Class Mason Stelter has been a project manager for Hoffman for four years. He returned from a tour of duty in Iraq two weeks ago and is working on Hoffman’s Bracket Project on I-94 in the northwest part of the state.
According to the DoD’s notice, the Patriot Award salutes companies that provide “outstanding support for their employees serving in the Guard and Reserve.”
An employee, such as Stelter, must nominate their employers for the award.
In addition to extending a congratulations to Chris and the Hoffman company, WTBA sincerely thanks Stelter for his service to our nation and freedoms.
