JOHNSON CREEK, Wis. — You don’t need to break the bank in order to help WTBA maintain a strong presence representing transportation construction builders in the state Capitol. In fact, you don’t even need to set foot in the building.

Sometimes a pair of good boots, some blaze orange, and $250 will do the trick.

“I thought that was money well spent to have some fun and raise some money for the PAC,” Lunda Construction Vice President Mike Hahn said.

Hahn joined several teams of hunters at WTBA’s first-ever PAC Pheasant Hunt last Friday at Milford Hills in Johnson Creek.

Cool and cloudy conditions offered a perfect atmosphere to enjoy nature, crack some jokes, and put your aim to the test.  Afternoon snow flurries simply added to the scenic views at the hunt club.

Hahn urges fellow WTBA members to recognize the importance of the Association’s legislative work and take advantage of PAC contribution opportunities when they arise.

“We have to be on our toes.  We have a lot going on,” Hahn said.  “Bills are coming out and (we need to) get our viewpoints presented in a proper way.”
