WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — Seven projects – ranging from asphalt to concrete to bridges and scattered across different corners of Wisconsin – all have one thing in common: WTBA-member companies did the work and won awards for it.
Thursday night, WisDOT unveiled its 2023 Outstanding Construction and Airport Awards during the Contractor-Engineer Conference.
Some of the winners included Zenith Tech for the Fox River Bridge in Racine County, Integrity Grading & Excavating (with subcontractor Trierweiler Construction) for their work on East Washington Ave. in downtown Madison, and Michels Road & Stone for completing the north leg of the Zoo Interchange.
On the airport side, Vinton Construction and Mead & Hunt won for their work planning and rehabbing taxiways, aprons, and auto gates at Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay.
The awards represent a clean sweep for WTBA-member companies. The Association sincerely congratulates all winners for their exceptional work!
