Another 76 local transportation projects in Wisconsin will get a boost from federal funding.
Thursday afternoon, Gov. Evers’ office announced the state received $177 million for its next allotment of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law money.
The Surface Transportation Program funding will pay for work in mid-sized communities such as Beloit, Eau Claire, and Oshkosh as well as the state’s three largest cities: Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay.
Milwaukee is receiving the largest amount, at about $76 million.
A full county-by-county list of projects receiving funding through the STP and Local Bridge programs, including the previously announced 150 projects, is available here.
