Two WTBA members received state recognition on a very fitting day this week.

The Department of Workforce Development named MCC, Inc. and Truck Country/McCoy Construction & Forestry “Vets Ready Employers” on Tuesday, which was Veterans Day.

The program highlights companies that strive to hire, train, retain, promote and support veterans in Wisconsin.

This marked the fourth year in a row MCC won the award, while Truck Country/McCoy was one of eight first-time winners. There were 25 total companies recognized.

Winners are highlighted on the Job Center of Wisconsin’s website and receive a special Vets Ready emblem for their own websites in addition to a certificate.
