DWD offering workforce training grants for all employers

Companies looking to bolster their workforce can apply now for state Department of Workforce Development grants.

The Wisconsin Fast Forward grants reimburse employers for customized occupational training of unemployed, underemployed and existing workers.

Grants range from $5,000 to $400,000. Employers of all sizes and industries are eligible to apply.

All awards must have a 50% cash or in-kind match.

WFF grants have helped more than 32,000 workers get specialized training since 2013.
