A new video playing at dozens of gas stations in Wisconsin this summer aims to reach drivers before they reflexively hit “mute” on the pump.
WisDOT’s 30-second public service announcement alerting drivers to the ongoing I-41 expansion project between Appleton and Green Bay debuted on June 8.
You can watch the spot HERE.
The PSA features Vinton Construction Company’s Safety Director Chad Heyduk, urging drivers to slow down, pay attention, and put their phones down when behind the wheel.
The video is in a regular rotation at 45 gas stations within one mile of the I-41 corridor between Highway 44 in Oshkosh and Oneida Street in Green Bay.
WisDOT first produced a gas station video in 2025. The department coordinated with WTBA to include a contractor’s voice for 2026.
You can see the video playing at select pumps between now and September 7.
