It’s one thing to be considered one of the best within your company.  Getting recognized as one of the best across the entire state is even more special.

The Daily Reporter’s 2024 Newsmakers of the Year list includes five winners from WTBA-member companies.

The Walbec Group carried many of the awards, including Linda Pawlak (Construction Executive of the Year), Ric Szalewski (Senior Project Manager of the Year), and Johl Turzinski (Rising Young Professional of the Year).

Brandon Barden from Integrity Grading & Excavating (Construction Manager of the Year) and Kyle Huebner from Mead & Hunt (Innovator of the Year) rounded out the winners.

A celebration gala is set for Wednesday, Oct. 9 in Brookfield.

There were 40 total winners this year.  WTBA members won two awards in 2023.
